The Mushroom Bells solve a problem I see in a lot of musical gardens: everything is treble. Xylophones, chimes, metallophones — they all live in the upper register. These mushrooms add bass. Each one has a different diameter, so each one produces a distinct low-pitched tone, and that size-to-pitch relationship is something kids pick up intuitively.
