The Psagot Playgrounds The Yukon B is a more compact version of the full Yukon climbing maze, but it goes taller. Metal arches connected by cable nets create a winding climbing course with different obstacles along the way. It holds up to 100 kids at once, ages 5-12, and it carries both ASTM F1487 and IPEMA certification. If you have the space for a 52-foot footprint but not the 78 feet the original Yukon needs, this is the one I would look at.
BEST FOR: Parks and rec departments that want a large-scale climbing maze without committing to the full-size Yukon footprint. If your 5-12 year olds need more than a standard climber and you can dedicate about 52 feet of space, the Yukon B delivers the challenge in a tighter layout.
I think of the Yukon B as the Yukon for sites that do not have 78 feet to work with. You still get that long climbing path through metal arches and cable nets, with different obstacles and transitions along the route. But the layout is tighter and the climbs are steeper, which means the kids who have already conquered a standard climber will find something that pushes them here.
At 100-kid capacity, this handles a busy park without kids standing around waiting. The HDPE panels are made from recycled materials that resist UV and daily wear, so I do not worry about these aging out quickly. If you are comparing the A and B models, the trade-off is simple: the B is shorter in footprint but taller in challenge.
