The Psagot Playgrounds Square Frame Inclusive Swing is designed for children with special needs. It has a rope seat that cradles the rider in a stable seated position, and the base is anchored to the ground to limit the swing arc — so the motion stays controlled and safe. BEST FOR: For inclusive playgrounds where you need controlled swinging motion for children with special needs. The ground-anchored base prevents the swing from going too high, which gives caregivers confidence and keeps riders safe.
The key feature here is the ground-anchored base. On a standard swing, the arc just keeps getting bigger if someone pushes harder. On this one, the base physically limits how far the seat can travel, so the motion stays gentle and predictable. For a child with limited trunk control or sensory sensitivities, that controlled motion is the difference between enjoying the swing and being overwhelmed by it.
The rope seat wraps around the rider to provide postural support, and the fall height is only 100 cm — roughly half of what you see on a standard swing.
