The Psagot Playgrounds Lincoln is built around tall climbing towers that give school-age kids the kind of challenge they're looking for. This is a structure where height is the main draw — kids climb up, navigate between elements at elevation, and develop real upper-body strength doing it. Handles 66 children, ages 5-12, with ASTM F1487 and IPEMA certifications.
BEST FOR: Schools and parks where the kids have outgrown shorter structures and need something that pushes them physically. The high towers appeal to the 8-12 crowd especially — the kids who want to climb as high as they can. Also works well for recreation centers focused on active play and physical development.
I recommend the Lincoln when a client tells me their kids need more of a physical challenge. The high towers are the defining feature — this isn't a structure where everything happens at ground level. Kids have to commit to climbing, which builds coordination, grip strength, and confidence. The experiential play elements between towers add variety so it's not just climbing up and sliding down on repeat.
What I appreciate about the design is that it goes vertical instead of horizontal. That matters when you're working with a limited site. You get serious play value per square foot. Steel post construction handles the structural load of those tall towers, which is where cheaper materials tend to fail over time.
