The Climbing Cubes is the larger version of the cube climbing concept, and the jump in capacity is significant — 30 children at once compared to 15 on the smaller model. You get multiple connected HDPE cubes on a stainless steel frame, with holds at vertical, angled, and overhead positions across every face. The cube-to-cube transitions are what make this one stand out: kids have to plan routes across the entire structure, not just up and down a single wall. Ages 5-12, ASTM F1487 and IPEMA certified.
BEST FOR: Parks and larger school playgrounds that need high-capacity climbing for ages 5-12. If the two-cube version feels too small for your traffic, this gives you the same multi-angle climbing with room for 30 kids to spread out and find their own routes.
The route-finding element is what I think makes the Climbing Cubes worth the step up from the smaller model. Kids are not just climbing one face — they are figuring out how to transition between cubes, moving from a vertical hold pattern on one module to an overhead traverse on the next. Each cube has its own hold configuration, so the full structure gives you a progression from simpler climbs to more demanding sections that keeps older kids coming back.
At 30-child capacity on a 34-foot footprint, you get strong play density. I have found that climbing structures with multiple routes handle crowds better than linear ones because kids naturally spread out rather than queuing up. The stainless steel frame handles heavy daily use, and the HDPE panels are made from recycled materials with solid UV resistance.
