The A-frame is the obstacle people picture when they think "dog agility course" — two ramps meeting at a peak, dog runs up one side and down the other.

The detail that matters most is the perforated climbing surface. It gives traction going up and drains going down. A solid steel ramp after a spring rain is a slide, not a climb — the holes let the water through so a dog can hold its footing on a wet morning.

The posts bury in-ground, which is what keeps the frame from rocking under a dog moving at speed.
