The Playground Equipment Curved Post Tilted Pebble Bridge is a commercial balance structure for ages 5-12 with a series of tilted stepping platforms mounted between curved steel posts. It's a dexterity challenge that doubles as a stepping game, building vestibular coordination as kids navigate from one end to the other. Holds 3-6 kids, 96" fall height, 16' 3"W x 20' 5"L use zone. Meets ASTM F1487 and CPSC #325 standards.
BEST FOR: I'd recommend this curved post version for sites with higher traffic. It handles 3-6 kids versus 3-4 on the single post model, and the curved posts give kids something to grab if they need extra support while crossing.
This is the curved post version of the tilted pebble bridge, and the added posts make a practical difference. Kids who are still building their balance can reach out and grab the curved bars on either side for support, which means more children will actually attempt the crossing rather than skipping it. The platforms are tilted at different angles, so the challenge is real -- but with the grab bars there, it's a challenge kids can grow into rather than avoid.
The higher capacity (3-6 kids versus 3-4 on the single post version) makes it a better fit for busier sites like schools and public parks. Construction is commercial-grade powder-coated steel and rotationally molded polyethylene, same as the rest of the PGS line. It's a solid balance station for obstacle course layouts.
