Playground Equipment Bountiful is a big, bold commercial play structure for ages 5-12 that lives up to its name. This thing is packed with activities -- climbing, sliding, spinning, you name it -- spread across a 34' 5" x 40' 11" footprint. It handles 44-58 kids at once, which is a serious capacity number for schools and parks that see heavy use. Fall height is 96", so plan your surfacing accordingly. Meets ASTM F1487 and CPSC #325 safety standards. If you're looking for a structure that'll draw a crowd and keep them busy, the Bountiful is built for that.
BEST FOR: I'd recommend the Bountiful for busy municipal parks, large elementary schools, and community centers where you've got 40-plus kids hitting the playground at the same time. With that 44-58 kid capacity, there's enough going on that children aren't standing in line. You do need the space for it -- roughly 35 by 41 feet -- but if you've got it, this structure fills it well.
Here's the thing about the Playground Equipment Bountiful -- it's designed to keep a large group of kids moving at the same time without creating bottlenecks. The activities are distributed across the entire structure so you don't get 20 kids waiting for one slide while everything else sits empty. For the 5-12 age range, that variety matters. Older kids gravitate toward the more challenging climbers while the younger end of the range sticks to the slides and panels.
You'll need a clear area of about 35 by 41 feet, and with a 96" fall height, proper impact-attenuating surfacing is a must -- poured-in-place rubber or engineered wood fiber at the right depth.
