Playground Equipment 90-Degree Trapezoid Loop Ladder is a freestanding overhead climber for ages 5-12 with trapezoid-shaped rungs on an angular path. The trapezoid rungs hang lower and offer a wider grip area than round bars, making them easier for smaller hands to hold. Holds 5-10 children with a 96" fall height and a 19' 11" x 19' 11" use zone. Meets ASTM F1487 and CPSC #325 safety standards.
BEST FOR: I'd recommend the 90-Degree Trapezoid Loop Ladder for sites that want a substantial overhead climber with a more forgiving grip. The trapezoid rungs are wider at the base, so kids have a larger target to grab. The 90-degree turn adds challenge without making it inaccessible.
The trapezoid rungs are the key feature here. Because they are wider at the bottom, kids have a bigger bar to grab onto -- and the rungs sit lower than standard round bars, so they are easier to reach. That makes this climber more accessible for children who struggle with standard monkey bars.
