If you already have an elevated platform and just need the slide component, the 7 Foot Straight Tube Slide is sold as slide and mounts only — no extra structure required. It is a fully enclosed tube design rated for ages 2-12, with an 84-inch fall height and a use zone of 3 feet 5 inches wide by 13 feet 9 inches long. Meets ASTM F1487 and CPSC #325 safety standards.
BEST FOR: Parks, schools, and rec centers that already have a deck or platform in place and need to add or replace a slide without buying a full play system. The tube enclosure also works well for sites where you want to limit sun exposure on the sliding surface.
I like this option when a client already has a platform at the right height and just wants to swap in a fresh slide or add one where there was not one before. Because it is a tube slide, kids are fully enclosed on the way down, which parents tend to appreciate — and the enclosed design keeps the sliding surface cooler in direct sun compared to an open chute.
The mounts are powder-coated steel and the tube itself is polyethylene, so you are looking at a setup that handles weather and heavy use without much maintenance. At 7 feet, it fits the standard deck height range for most commercial play structures serving the 2-12 age group.
