The 5 Foot Single Straight Embankment Slide turns a hillside into a play feature by mounting directly into the slope. No ladder, no freestanding structure — kids walk up the hill and slide down. Rated for ages 2-12, with a 60-inch fall height and a use zone of 14 feet 8 inches wide by 7 feet long. Meets ASTM F1487 and CPSC #325 safety standards.
BEST FOR: Parks, schools, and neighborhoods with a medium-height hill that needs a purpose. This is a good fit when you want to add a slide without the cost of a full play structure, and the natural terrain gives you the elevation you need.
Here is the thing about embankment slides — the hill does all the work that a ladder or staircase would normally do. Kids walk up the ground and slide down, which makes these some of the most intuitive play features you can install. The 5-foot version fits slopes that are too tall for a 3 or 4-foot model but do not quite need the 6-foot option.
