Playground Equipment 4 Foot Single Right Turn Slide is a freestanding commercial slide for ages 2-12 with a right-hand curve built into the slide bed. The turn adds an element that straight slides don't offer, and the freestanding design means it works on its own without attaching to another structure. Fall height is 48" with a use zone of 17' 3"W x 22' 6"L. Meets ASTM F1487 and CPSC #325 safety standards.
BEST FOR: I'd recommend the 4 Foot Single Right Turn Slide for playgrounds that need a standalone slide in a space where a straight slide doesn't fit the layout. The right-hand turn lets you position the exit point off to the side, which can help with traffic flow around the equipment.
The 4 Foot Single Right Turn Slide solves a layout problem I see on a lot of playground projects. A straight slide needs clear space directly in front of it, but a turn slide deposits kids off to the side, which can work better with your site's traffic flow and available space. The right-hand curve also gives kids a different riding experience -- the gentle turn adds momentum and a bit of a lean that straight slides don't have.
At 4 feet, it's a good all-around height for the 2-12 age range. The freestanding design means you can place it wherever it fits best without worrying about connecting to an existing structure.
