The Psagot Playgrounds Tornado is a sloped plate carousel that holds up to 20 kids at once. The tilted surface means the balance challenge shifts constantly as the plate spins — kids have to adjust their footing and work together to keep things moving. We carry this for playgrounds that want a high-capacity spinner with a built-in physical challenge. Ages 5-12.

I like the Tornado because it solves a common problem: getting a large group of kids on one piece of equipment without a line. Twenty kids can ride at once, and the sloped plate keeps it interesting because the balance challenge changes depending on where you stand and how fast the group is spinning.
The slope is what separates this from a flat spinner. Kids have to figure out how much force to use and how to coordinate with the group — push too hard and everyone slides, too soft and it stalls. It is a self-correcting lesson in teamwork. The galvanized metal and HDPE plate are built for commercial use and hold up well in all weather.
