The Psagot Playgrounds Washington C is the largest in the Washington series, and it is designed to be a fortress. Hexagonal towers at different heights create a castle-like profile connected by cable bridges, and children work their way through the structure using climbing ladders, inclined crawling bridges, and play panels before coming down tube slides — including a transparent one at 2.9 meters where kids can see straight through as they descend. It holds 365 children at once, which makes it one of the highest-capacity structures I carry. ASTM F1487 and IPEMA certified, built from recycled HDPE.
BEST FOR: The Washington C is a destination investment. At 365-kid capacity on a 90-foot footprint, it is built for large regional parks, resort complexes, and major municipal projects that expect heavy daily traffic. If you are planning a playground that should draw families from neighboring towns, this is the kind of centerpiece that does it. I would not recommend it for a neighborhood park — it is too large and too expensive for that use case. But for the right site, it is hard to beat.
The Washington C earns its place in my catalog with scale and design. The hexagonal towers at different heights give it a medieval fortress silhouette that kids respond to immediately — they want to conquer it. Cable bridges between towers demand focus and balance, crawling bridges add a different movement challenge, and climbing ladders reward persistence. The transparent tube slide at 2.9 meters is a genuine thrill because kids can see the ground rushing by below them as they descend.
At 365 kids on a 90-foot footprint, this is a structure that handles an entire school field trip at once. The multi-tower layout spreads children across the structure so you do not get dangerous crowding at any single point. The play panels woven throughout give younger or less adventurous kids something to engage with while they build confidence for the climbing challenges. I have found that fortress themes have staying power — kids come back to this kind of structure repeatedly because there are so many routes to explore.
