The Playground Equipment Mesquite Canopy Mini Play Structure is a forest-themed toddler playhouse for ages 6-23 months. It features a butterfly crawl tunnel, gentle climbing ramp, interactive climbing wall, and a toddler-friendly slide beneath a tree canopy roof. Holds 11-15 kids with an 18" fall height and a use zone of 14' 2" x 18' 2". Meets ASTM F1487 and CPSC #325 safety standards.
BEST FOR: I'd recommend the Mesquite for smaller programs that want a climbing wall element in their toddler area. Most Canopy Minis have ramps and tunnels, but the Mesquite adds a low climbing wall that gives toddlers a different physical challenge.
What makes the Mesquite different from most Canopy Mini structures is the interactive climbing wall. At toddler height, it provides handholds and footholds that challenge balance and grip strength in a way that a ramp alone does not. The butterfly crawl tunnel, climbing ramp, and toddler slide round out the physical play options. The tree canopy roof ties the forest theme together and provides a bit of visual shelter.
This is a smaller-capacity unit at 11-15 kids, which keeps it manageable for one or two staff to supervise. The 14' x 18' use zone is modest enough for most toddler play areas.
