The Playground Equipment Nebular Net is a commercial rope climber for ages 5-12 with a round, dome-like shape built from interlocking squares and hexagons of nylon-wrapped steel rope. Kids climb from the outside in and all the way over. Handles 8-12 kids. Fall height is 80" with a use zone of 19' 8" W x 19' 8" L. Meets ASTM F1487 and CPSC #325 safety standards.
BEST FOR: I'd recommend the Nebular Net for playgrounds that need a focused climbing challenge in a tight space. At under 20 by 20 feet, it is one of the most compact rope climbers available, but the dome shape still gives kids a full range of climbing directions -- up, over, and through.
The Nebular Net is the smallest rope climber in this series, and its dome shape is what makes it work in tight spaces. The round profile means kids can start climbing from any direction, and the interlocking squares and hexagons create a surface with multiple gripping angles that work core, arm, and leg muscles as children navigate up and over. Eight to twelve kids can climb at once, which is solid capacity for a structure this compact. The multi-face rope pattern means there is no single route to the top -- kids pick their own path every time.
The 20-by-20-foot use zone fits into playground areas where larger structures simply will not work.
