Playground Equipment Naples is a commercial toddler play structure for children ages 6-23 months that's focused on getting early walkers moving. The key feature is an Inclined Crawl Tube that encourages toddlers to explore the structure by crawling through an angled tunnel. There's also a low platform reachable by just a few small steps -- good for building early leg and arm strength. Holds 12-18 kids at once, has a 30" fall height, and requires a use zone of 17' 1" x 20' 11". Meets ASTM F1487 and CPSC #325 safety standards.
BEST FOR: I'd recommend the Naples for daycare centers, preschools, and tot lots where you want toddlers actually moving, not just standing at a panel. The Inclined Crawl Tube gives 6-to-23-month-olds a reason to explore -- crawling through it, coming out the other side, doing it again. The low steps up to the platform build confidence in kids who are just learning to climb. Good for programs that want more physical play out of their infant equipment.
What I like about the Playground Equipment Naples is that it actually gets toddlers moving through space, not just standing in one spot poking at a panel. The Inclined Crawl Tube gives 6-to-23-month-olds a physical challenge that's scaled to their abilities -- they crawl in, work their way through the angled tunnel, and come out the other side. The low platform with its small steps is another smart touch. For kids just learning to walk, those few steps are a real accomplishment, and they're building arm and leg strength every time they do it.
The use zone is about 17 by 21 feet, which is a bit larger than some of the smallest toddler units but still fits on most childcare sites. The 30" fall height is reasonable for this age range.
