The 8-Foot Straight Tube Slide is the largest straight tube slide in the lineup. Unlike the spiral models, this one goes straight down -- no turns, no corkscrew, just a direct enclosed chute from an 8-foot platform to the ground. Fall height is 96 inches, and the use zone is a narrow 3 ft 5 in by 15 ft 4 in. That long, slim footprint makes it easy to fit alongside other equipment. Slide and mounts only, so it bolts to your existing structure. Commercial-grade polyethylene that's built to last.
BEST FOR: Playgrounds and play structures with an 8-foot deck that need a fast, direct slide option. This is a good pick if your layout is narrow and you can't accommodate the wider footprint of a spiral tube. Also works for indoor play areas and residential structures where you want an enclosed slide but don't need the spiral rotation.
Here's the thing about straight tube slides versus spiral tubes: straight tubes are faster. There's no rotation to slow the descent, so kids get more speed on the way down.
