Riverbend Run is a large fully accessible playground structure for ages 5-12 with capacity for 63-69 kids. The use zone is 45' 3" x 60' 3", and the fall height is 72 inches. This is an ADA-compliant structure where kids of all physical abilities can access the same platforms, slides, and play features through ramps and transfer stations. Meets ASTM F1487 and CPSC #325 safety standards.
BEST FOR: Parks and school districts that need a large-capacity accessible structure for the elementary-age crowd. The 63-69 kid capacity handles busy recesses and weekend crowds. The 72-inch fall height provides enough elevation for engaging slides and climbing without going to the taller 96-inch range, which some communities prefer.
Riverbend Run is one of the larger structures in the Fully Accessible series, and the layout shows it. The 45-by-60-foot footprint gives kids room to spread out across multiple play zones, which reduces congestion at popular features. With 63-69 kids playing at once, traffic flow matters, and the elongated shape helps keep things moving.
The 72-inch fall height is a middle ground that I think works well for the 5-12 age range. You get enough elevation for slides and elevated platforms that feel worthwhile to a fifth grader, without the 96-inch height that some communities are not comfortable with. ADA-compliant ramps and transfer stations are built into the design, so children using wheelchairs or mobility aids reach the same areas as everyone else.
