The Psagot Playgrounds Cajon is a freestanding musical play element shaped like a cajon drum, made from recycled HDPE with an internal rattling mechanism. Kids ages 2-12 sit on it and tap the sides to produce percussion sounds. At just 1'-3.4" fall height, it is one of the safest elements I carry. Single-user capacity.

I like the Psagot Playgrounds Cajon because it adds a music element to any playground without adding maintenance headaches. There are no mallets to lose, no strings to break, no moving parts to wear out. Kids sit on it and tap the sides, and the internal rattling mechanism produces a satisfying percussion sound. It works for ages 2 through 12, which means toddlers and older kids both use it.
The recycled HDPE body handles sun, rain, and freezing temperatures without cracking or fading. At 1'-3.4" fall height with a 4'-9.5" x 4'-9. I have placed these alongside other Psagot musical instruments to create dedicated sound zones within playgrounds.
