The 3 Foot Double Straight Embankment Slide turns a small hill into a side-by-side sliding experience for two kids at once. At just 3 feet high, it is low to the ground and about as safe as a slide can be. Mounts directly into the slope — no stairs, no platform. Rated for ages 2-12, with a 40-inch fall height and a use zone of 6 feet 10 inches by 16 feet 4 inches. Meets ASTM F1487 and CPSC #325 standards.
BEST FOR: Preschools, daycare centers, and community parks with a small slope and enough foot traffic that a single lane would create a long wait. Two kids sliding together also means less arguing over whose turn it is.
This is the slide I suggest when a client has a small hill, younger kids, and does not want anyone waiting too long for a turn. Two lanes at 3 feet high gives you the safest double-slide setup in the embankment line. Kids can race each other down, which turns a simple slope into a social activity — and the low height means parents of toddlers are not worried about it.
The construction is standard commercial-grade: polyethylene chutes and powder-coated steel posts. Because it goes right into the hillside, there is no standalone structure to maintain. The use zone is about 7 by 16 feet, so you do need a bit of room around the base, but the footprint is modest for a double slide.
CAPACITY: 1-2 Kids, ages 2-12 Years.
USE ZONE: 6' 10" x 16' 4" — plan your site layout accordingly.
FALL HEIGHT: 40". Requires appropriate safety surfacing.
MATERIALS: Powder-coated steel posts with polyethylene plastic components.
CERTIFICATIONS: ASTM F1487 and CPSC Guidelines #325 compliant.
