The Psagot Playgrounds Submarine is shaped like an actual submarine, built in Robinia wood and stainless steel with two full play levels. Kids enter through bow and propeller crawl tunnels on the lower deck, climb rope nets, sit in a bird's nest seat, then head up top to use the telescope and choose from three barrel slides angled in different directions. Most themed play structures bolt a theme onto a standard layout. The Submarine is different -- the shape of the vessel is the structure. Kids crawl in through the bow, which feels like entering through a hatch. The propeller entry on the other end gives a second access point. On the lower deck, rope nets and a bird's nest seat create the feel of being below decks. Climb up top, and there is a telescope and three barrel slides pointing in different directions, so the exit itself becomes part of the adventure.
