The Psagot Playgrounds Long Beach 1AA is an elevated cabin on poles — kids climb up through an intricate rope system and come down via a long curved tube slide. The cabin has three rounded windows that let parents see inside from ground level. It is built from steel, cables, and HDPE/HPL panels. Holds 67 kids at once, ages 5-12. ASTM F1487 and IPEMA certified.
BEST FOR: Parks that want a focused climbing challenge on a compact footprint. The Long Beach 1AA is not trying to be everything — it is a cabin you have to earn by climbing ropes, and then you get rewarded with a long tube slide down. Good for sites that already have other play elements and need to add an extreme climbing component.
The Long Beach 1AA is one of the more straightforward extreme structures in the Psagot line, and I mean that as a compliment. The concept is clean: climb the ropes to reach the cabin, then ride the tube slide down. There is no filler. The rope system requires real coordination and upper body strength, so it gives older kids the physical challenge they are looking for without cluttering the design with elements they will ignore.
The three rounded windows are a smart detail — they let parents and caregivers monitor kids inside the cabin from ground level, which is not always easy with elevated structures. At 67-kid capacity on a 38-foot footprint, the Long Beach 1AA fits into a moderate park space. The steel and cable construction with HDPE/HPL panels gives it the structural integrity it needs for a rope-based climbing system at this height.
