The Psagot Playgrounds Fargo B takes the Fargo's hexagonal tower and makes it the whole show. It is a two-story hex tower with two slides and climbing elements, built from Robinia wood on a 27-foot footprint. Same 45-child capacity as the full Fargo, just in a more compact package. Ages 5-12. ASTM F1487 and IPEMA certified.
BEST FOR: Smaller parks and schoolyards that need a focused climbing-and-sliding structure without the footprint of a twin-tower system. The Fargo B gives you the hex tower from the Fargo on its own, which works well when space is the primary constraint.
I bring up the Fargo B when someone likes the Fargo but their site cannot fit the twin-tower layout. The hexagonal tower is the stronger of the two Fargo towers anyway — two stories of climbing and play with two slides for the way down. And it keeps the same 45-child capacity, so you are not sacrificing throughput for the smaller footprint.
The hexagonal shape is not just aesthetic — six sides create more usable interior space and more approach angles than a four-sided tower, which helps when a crowd of kids are all trying to get on at once. Robinia wood keeps maintenance low and holds up to the weather without chemical treatments.
CAPACITY: 45 children simultaneously, ages 5-12.
FALL HEIGHT: 9'-3.4" (290 cm). Requires appropriate safety surfacing.
MATERIALS: European Robinia wood — naturally durable and weather resistant.
CERTIFICATIONS: ASTM F1487 and IPEMA certified.
