Playground Equipment Thibadaux is a commercial playground for ages 5-12 with an unusual symmetrical layout -- climbers and slides alternate on opposite sides, giving it a distinctive six-legged insect shape when viewed from above. This means kids are never more than a few steps from the next activity. Holds 38-44 kids, fall height is 72", use zone is 33' 1" x 32' 8". Meets ASTM F1487 and CPSC #325 standards.
BEST FOR: This works well for busy school playgrounds where you need to keep 38-44 kids moving at once. The alternating climber-slide pattern creates natural traffic flow so kids aren't all lined up waiting for the same slide.
The Playground Equipment Thibadaux has one of the more interesting layouts I've seen in a commercial structure. The alternating climber-and-slide pattern creates six distinct activity zones radiating out from the center, which means kids naturally spread across the whole structure instead of clustering. From above it looks like a six-legged insect -- not a selling point on paper, but in practice that symmetry keeps traffic flowing.
At 72" fall height and a nearly square 33' x 32' footprint, the Thibadaux fits well in spaces where you need high capacity (38-44 kids) without a lot of length. The steel posts are powder-coated and the plastic components are polyethylene, both standard for commercial-grade outdoor use.
