Playground Equipment 1 Pod Free Standing Pod Climber -- built for ages 2-12, accommodating 1-2 kids. This is our most basic pod climber with a single circular step on a steel post. At just 12" fall height, it serves as a stepping stone or a starting point in a multi-pod climbing sequence. Use zone of 13' 3" W x 13' 3" L. Meets ASTM F1487 and CPSC #325 safety standards.
BEST FOR: I'd recommend the 1-Pod Climber as a building block for custom climbing layouts. On its own, it is a simple step-up platform. Combined with taller pod climbers, it becomes the first step in a progressive climbing series that grows with the children.
The Playground Equipment 1 Pod Free Standing Pod Climber is the simplest piece in our pod series, and sometimes simple is exactly what you need. A single circular step on a steel post at 12" height does not look like much on its own, but place it at the start of a line of 2-, 3-, 4-, 5-, and 6-pod climbers and it becomes the entry point for a progressive climbing challenge. Kids step up on this one, gain confidence, and move to the next tallest.
On its own, it works as a stepping platform for younger children who need a boost to reach other equipment. The 13' 3" square use zone and 12" fall height make it one of the lowest-risk components you can add. Same commercial-grade powder-coated steel and polyethylene as every other pod in the series.
