The Psagot Playgrounds Whale is shaped like an actual whale, and the whole body is a climbing course. Kids work through climbing nets, wall arches, spinning elements, swinging features, and slides -- all built into the whale form. The tail and fins serve as climbing sections too. It holds 50 kids ages 5-12 and carries ASTM F1487 and IPEMA certification.

Most themed play structures just bolt a decorative panel onto a standard frame. The Whale is different -- the whale shape is the play structure. Kids climb across the body on nets and arches, crawl through the interior, and work their way out to the tail and fin sections. There is no part of this thing that is just decoration. Every surface does something.
At 50-kid capacity, the Whale handles steady traffic without bottlenecks because the climbing routes run the full length of the structure. I have found that themed equipment like this also draws families from farther away, which matters if you are trying to make a park a destination.
