The Playground Equipment Craggy Crest is one of the largest structures in the Craggy series, built for children ages 5-12. It combines multiple Craggy Climber rock wall sections, climbable connectors, and a slide into one structure that appeals to kids with different play preferences. Fall height is 96" with a use zone of 44' 10" x 36' 10". Meets ASTM F1487 and CPSC #325 safety standards.
BEST FOR: I'd recommend the Craggy Crest for busy playgrounds that serve kids with different interests. The combination of climbing walls, connectors, and a slide means it is not just for the climbing-focused kids -- the slide draws in children who might not go straight for a rock wall. It is a true centerpiece structure for large playgrounds.
What sets the Craggy Crest apart from the other structures in this series is the slide. Most Craggy configurations are pure climbing, but the Crest adds a slide that gives kids a payoff at the top and draws in children who might not approach a straight climbing wall. The multiple rock wall sections and climbable connectors still deliver plenty of climbing challenge, but the slide broadens the appeal to a wider range of kids and play styles.
At 45' x 37', this is one of the bigger structures in the Craggy series and needs a large, dedicated space.
