The Playground Equipment Combination Manhole Rope Climber With Side Nets is a multi-activity commercial climbing structure for ages 5-12. Kids can climb inside it, on top of it, or around it using vertical ladders, side nets, and rope elements. Once they reach the top, they can sit and rest on the nylon rope platform. Holds 5-10 kids, 96" fall height, 21' 6"W x 22' 2"L use zone. Meets ASTM F1487 and CPSC #325 standards.
BEST FOR: I'd recommend this structure for sites that want a multi-route climbing experience with high capacity. It's one of the few pieces in the PGS line where kids can play inside the structure as well as on it, which opens up different kinds of play beyond straight climbing.
This is one of the most versatile structures in the PGS Game Structures lineup. Most climbers give kids one thing to do -- climb up. This one lets them climb the vertical side ladders, scale the side nets, work through the rope elements inside the structure, and sit on the nylon rope platform at the top. The inside-and-outside play means a group of 10 kids can spread across different sections without crowding each other. That variety keeps the structure in constant use.
The side nets are nylon-wrapped steel cable, same as the rope elements, so everything is built to handle the weight and wear of heavy commercial use. The overall footprint is roughly 21 by 22 feet, which is on the larger side for a single structure, but you're getting the play value of two or three separate pieces.
