The Psagot Playgrounds Tulsa B is an expanded version of the Tulsa system, designed for the older end of the 5-12 range. It combines climbing, traversing, swinging, and sliding into a layout built for multi-kid social games and group challenges. ASTM F1487 and IPEMA certified, recycled HDPE construction.
BEST FOR: If you have a park or school where the older kids have nothing to do because everything on the playground is sized for 6-year-olds, the Tulsa B is built for that problem. The climbing, traversing, and swinging elements are challenging enough for preteens, and the layout supports group games where kids are competing or cooperating across the structure. I recommend it as a complement to a younger-age structure, giving the 9-12 crowd their own space.
The Tulsa B is one of the few structures I carry that is designed with older kids in mind from the start. The climbing and traversing elements are not oversized toddler features — they are scaled to challenge a 10 or 11-year-old. The swinging components add a dynamic element that older kids respond to because it requires timing and coordination, not just brute strength. And the layout is built so groups of kids can use it together for competitive or cooperative games, which is how preteens prefer to play.
At 36 kids on a 48-foot footprint, the Tulsa B is compact enough to add alongside an existing younger-age structure without dominating your site plan.
