The Psagot Playgrounds Mushroom Spring is a jumping platform for toddlers ages 2-5, shaped like a mushroom and mounted on four springs. Kids stand on the engraved HDPE surface and bounce in place or jump off onto the surrounding safety surface. It is a different feel from a traditional spring rider — more about leg power and balance than rocking. Single-rider capacity, 3-foot-2-inch fall height.
BEST FOR: Toddler play areas where you want a balance and jumping element that is not just another spring rider. The mushroom shape draws kids in, and the four-spring platform gives them a bounce experience they cannot get from standard rocking equipment.
What sets the Mushroom Spring apart from a typical spring rider is the play pattern. This is not rocking back and forth — it is vertical. Kids jump on the platform, feel the bounce from four springs underneath, and either keep jumping in place or launch themselves off onto the impact-absorbing surface around it. That builds different muscles and different coordination skills than rocking does.
The engraved HDPE surface gives toddlers solid footing while they bounce, which matters when you are talking about 2-year-olds who are still figuring out their balance.
