The Psagot Playgrounds Junior Gas Station is a ground-level HDPE play structure shaped like a gas station, built so ride-on toys and wheelchairs can roll right in. It comes with removable fuel pumps, play receipts, and a rubber flap entrance door that toddlers love pushing through. Holds 13 kids, fits ages 2-5, and carries ASTM F1487 and IPEMA certifications. No fall height since it sits at ground level.
BEST FOR: Inclusive daycares and preschools that need a wheelchair-accessible play structure with built-in role-play props. Toddlers ages 2-5 pull up in ride-on toys, pump gas, and collect receipts, and every child can participate regardless of mobility.
I carry a lot of toddler structures, but the Junior Gas Station is one of the few where the role-play props feel specific enough to hold a 3-year-old's attention. The removable fuel pumps and receipts give kids a sequence to follow — pull up, pump gas, get a receipt, drive out through the rubber door. That kind of structured pretend play builds language and social skills in ways a generic playhouse does not.
The full wheelchair accessibility is not an afterthought here. The openings are sized for wheelchairs and ride-on toys from the ground up, so inclusive play happens naturally. At 13-child capacity on a 16-by-16-foot footprint, it pairs well with the Junior Mechanic Shop if you want a complete toddler vehicle play zone.
CAPACITY: 13 children simultaneously, ages 2-5.
FALL HEIGHT: Ground level — no elevated fall height.
MATERIALS: HDPE — UV and wear resistant, produced from recycled materials.
CERTIFICATIONS: ASTM F1487 and IPEMA certified.
