The Psagot Playgrounds Dragon is a 120-foot dragon-shaped play structure that holds 293 kids ages 5-12. I know those numbers sound like a typo, but they are not. The dragon's spine is a rope bridge, the wings are rope pyramids with hammocks and tunnels, the legs are climbing walls, and the mouth -- built from transparent polycarbonate -- has winding slides coming out of it. ASTM F1487 and IPEMA certified.
BEST FOR: This is for destination parks with a big budget and a big vision. If a municipality or developer wants to build a playground that puts their park on the map for the region, the Dragon is the kind of structure that does that. Ages 5-12, nearly 300-kid capacity.
Every part of the Dragon is a play element. The legs are climbing walls. The wings hold rope pyramids, rubber hammocks, and crawling tunnels. The spine is a rope bridge running the full length. And the head -- this transparent polycarbonate mouth piece -- has winding slides that spit kids out at the front. There is nothing decorative about it. The dragon shape is the playground.
At 293-kid capacity across 120 feet, the Dragon is not something I recommend casually. This is for projects where the goal is to create a regional destination, the kind of park where families drive 45 minutes because their kids will not stop asking to go back. The safety zone alone is , so you need the site for it. But if you have the space and the budget, there is nothing else like it. HDPE panels, galvanized steel, and rope nets give you the durability a high-traffic destination requires.
