The Climbing Rocks B gives you three geometric boulders made from colorful pentagonal HDPE panels, each with its own arrangement of climbing holds. It looks more like a natural rock formation than a typical climbing structure, which I think works well in parks that want to avoid the primary-color playground aesthetic. Kids climb over, around, and through the boulders, choosing their own routes based on the hold patterns they find. Holds 30 children at once, ages 5-12, ASTM F1487 and IPEMA certified.

I recommend the Climbing Rocks B when a park wants bouldering-style play in a contained space. The three boulders each present different hold layouts, so kids naturally progress from the easier boulder to the harder ones as they build confidence. The pentagonal panel design creates enough angles and edges that there is always a new route to try, and I have noticed that the boulder shape encourages kids to work together — calling out routes and spotting each other the way adult climbers do.
You are fitting 30-child bouldering into roughly the same space a standard swing set would need. The HDPE is made from recycled materials and handles UV exposure and wear without the upkeep that painted steel structures demand.
