The Psagot Playgrounds Barrel Roll is a drum mounted on a horizontal axis with HDPE handrails on both sides. The rider stands on the drum and walks or runs to spin it with their legs. It is entirely self-powered — the child controls the speed. Single rider, ages 5-12.

The Psagot Playgrounds Barrel Roll is different from every other spinner I carry because the child powers it entirely with their own legs. They stand on the drum, grip the handrails, and walk or run to spin. Faster legs mean faster rotation. That direct cause-and-effect teaches force regulation in a way that pushed or motorized spinners do not.
I find this piece appeals to kids who want a solo challenge rather than a group experience. The HDPE handrails on both sides give them something solid to hold while they figure out their balance on the rotating drum. At a 3'-2.4" fall height, the risk is manageable, but the physical demand is genuine — this is one of the better leg and core workouts disguised as play.
