What sets the Psagot Playgrounds 3-Kid Beetle apart from single-seat spring riders is the social element. Three toddlers sit together and their combined movement affects the rocking — they have to figure out how to coordinate, and that process gets them communicating without any adult prompting. The beetle shape gives them something to pretend about, too.
The galvanized metal frame and HDPE panels stand up to weather and heavy use. At a 3'-2.4" fall height, this is a low-risk piece that fits comfortably in toddler zones. I find that multi-seat springs like this one fill a gap in playgrounds that already have single-rider options but need something that brings small groups together.
