Talk Tubes are one of those simple pieces that kids never get tired of. They're basically a playground telephone system -- kids talk into one end and their friend hears them at the other end across the playground. The imaginative play that comes out of these is worth the investment on its own. I've seen kids use them for spy missions, restaurant ordering games, and just chatting with friends from 20 feet away. They also work well for kids who might not be comfortable on climbing equipment but still want to be part of the action.
