The Steel Umbrella Base is the mounting platform for our Patio Style and Market Style umbrellas. It is a heavy-duty steel base that keeps the umbrella pole locked in place so it does not shift or tip in wind. If you are doing a permanent installation, this is the base I recommend.
BEST FOR: Any commercial patio, park, or pool area where you are installing our Patio Style or Market Style umbrellas permanently. If the umbrellas are going to stay in one spot year-round, this steel base gives you the most secure anchor.

Wind is the main enemy of outdoor umbrellas, and a good base makes the difference between an umbrella that stays put and one that tips over onto a table full of people. This steel base is heavy enough to keep things stable.
