I carry the Psagot Playgrounds Forest Accessible Swing because it does two things at once: it gives kids with special needs a supportive, accessibility-compliant seat, and it wraps the whole experience in Psagot's Forest series look with semi-transparent polycarbonate leaf crowns that catch the light. One rider at a time, ages 5-12, galvanized powder-coated steel frame with HDPE seat. Fall height is 7'-0.5".
BEST FOR: Inclusive playgrounds that want an accessible swing with genuine visual appeal, not just a functional accommodation, for children with special needs ages 5-12.
Most accessible swings look like medical equipment. The Psagot Playgrounds Forest Accessible Swing does not. The Forest series leaf crowns, made from semi-transparent polycarbonate, create this nature-canopy effect overhead that makes the swing feel like part of the playground rather than a separate accommodation. Kids notice the colors and the way light passes through the leaves. That matters more than people realize when you are trying to make inclusive play feel natural.
The seat itself does what it needs to do. It holds the rider in an upright position with enough support for children who have limited trunk control or mobility challenges. The galvanized steel frame handles commercial-level use, and the HDPE and polycarbonate components resist UV and weather. I like that Psagot designed this so the accessibility features and the aesthetics are the same structure, not bolted-on afterthoughts.
