The Playground Equipment Hanging Cantilever Fabric Shade is a commercial shade structure with an offset post design that keeps support columns to one side while the canopy extends outward. This umbrella-style layout provides shade coverage without posts in the middle of the shaded area. Works for storefronts, bleachers, pool decks, and playground areas.
BEST FOR: Any space where you need shade but can't have posts obstructing the area underneath. Bleacher sections, storefront entrances, pool decks, and playground zones where equipment or foot traffic rules out center-post designs.
The cantilever design is the solution when you need shade but can't put posts where the shade needs to be. The support structure stays off to the side, and the canopy hangs outward over the area you want covered. I recommend this for bleacher sections where posts in front of seats would block sightlines, pool decks where posts in the wet zone create hazards, and storefronts where you want coverage over the entrance without columns in the walkway.
