The Playground Equipment Combination Manhole Rope Climber is a multi-activity commercial climbing structure for ages 5-12. Like its side-net sibling, it lets kids climb inside, on top of, and around the structure using vertical ladders and rope elements. Kids can reach the top and rest on nylon ropes. This version comes without the side nets for a more streamlined profile. Holds 3-7 kids, 96" fall height, 21' 6"W x 22' 1"L use zone. Meets ASTM F1487 and CPSC #325 standards.
BEST FOR: I'd recommend this version if you want the multi-route climbing experience of the Manhole Rope Climber but with a slightly lower capacity target. Without the side nets, it's a bit more open and gives better sightlines for supervision.
This is the streamlined version of the Combination Manhole Rope Climber -- same multi-route climbing experience, but without the side nets. Kids still get to climb the vertical ladders on the sides, work through the interior rope elements, and hang out on top. The open sides make it easier for parents and staff to keep an eye on children as they play, which is an advantage at sites where supervision is a priority.
Capacity tops out at 3-7 kids, which is a step down from the 5-10 of the side net version. The trade-off is better visibility and a cleaner profile. The footprint is nearly identical at just over 21 by 22 feet, and the construction is the same commercial-grade rope and steel throughout.
