The Playground Equipment Cantilever Single Column Fabric Shade 8 FT is a commercial shade structure with an offset single post and a canopy at 8-foot height. The lower canopy delivers concentrated shade coverage in a compact profile. The cantilever design keeps the support post to one side for an unobstructed shaded area.
BEST FOR: Smaller outdoor spaces, seated areas, and kids' zones where the 8-foot height puts shade coverage closer to the people using it. A good fit when the area primarily serves seated adults, benches, or children's play zones at ground level.
The 8-foot cantilever puts the canopy as low as this design goes, which means the most concentrated shade coverage right where you need it. For benches, small seating clusters, or kids' areas where everyone is close to the ground, the lower height blocks more angled sun than the taller versions would.
You still get the cantilever advantage -- the post stays off to the side, so the shaded space underneath is completely open. Same commercial-grade materials as the 10 and 12-foot versions.
