The Psagot Playgrounds Balloons GD 3 won a Good Design Award, and when you see the layout, it makes sense. Three balloon towers are stretched into a long linear arrangement — about 80 feet end to end — connected by suspension bridges. Each tower has spiral slides, climbing walls, rope crossings, and interactive zones. It covers ages 2-12 and holds 133 kids at once. ASTM F1487 and IPEMA certified.
BEST FOR: Parks that want a wide age range in one structure. The 2-12 age span means toddlers and grade-schoolers can all play on the same system, which is uncommon at this scale. The linear layout also works well for long, narrow park spaces where a compact square footprint would not fit. A strong choice for urban parks and public gardens.
The linear layout is what makes this one different from the other Balloons models. Instead of clustering towers together, the GD 3 spreads them across 80 feet, so kids run, climb, and explore the full length rather than circling one central structure. That prevents the bottleneck problem you get with compact designs — 133 kids can spread out across three towers without getting jammed up at one entry point.
The 2-12 age range is the other standout. Most structures this size are designed for 5-12, which leaves younger kids watching from the sidelines. The GD 3 incorporates elements that toddlers can navigate alongside older kids.
