BEST FOR: I'd recommend the 5-Pod Climber for playgrounds that want a mid-range climbing challenge. At 60" fall height, it sits between the shorter starter climbers and the tallest 6-pod model, making it a good fit for mixed 5-12 age groups.
The Playground Equipment 5 Pods Free Standing Pod Climber is the second tallest in our individual pod climber series. Five circular steps spiral around a central steel post, and because each step is round, children can start climbing from any side. The openings in the pods work as hand grips too, so kids develop both upper and lower body strength on the way up. At 60" fall height, it provides a solid challenge without reaching the maximum height of the 6-pod model.
The 13' 3" square use zone is identical across the entire pod climber series, which makes it easy to plan layouts when you are mixing different heights. Install this as a standalone piece or pair it with 3-, 4-, and 6-pod models to create a climbing progression across your playground.
