The Playground Equipment Sand Dollar Sail Fabric Shade is a commercial sail-style shade structure designed to cover decks, patios, and play areas. The sail design provides broad coverage while adding a distinctive visual element to the space. Powder-coated steel frame with commercial-grade UV-blocking fabric that handles sun and rain.
BEST FOR: Parks, playgrounds, and outdoor venues that want shade coverage with a more architectural look than a standard square canopy. The sail shape works well over irregularly shaped areas where a rectangular shade wouldn't cover the right spots.
The Sand Dollar Sail gives you shade coverage with a different look than your typical post-and-canopy setup. The sail shape catches the eye and adds some character to the space, which I find matters to parks and venues that care about aesthetics alongside function. It also drapes in a way that directs rainwater naturally rather than pooling.
The fabric is rated for UV blocking, fire resistance, and mold resistance, so it handles being outdoors full-time. We can do custom colors on both the fabric and the steel frame to match whatever you already have on site.
