The smaller rectangular shade in the 8-foot entrance height line covers areas from 10 to 18 feet in length. This is the right size when you need more coverage than a square shade but do not need the full 20-plus foot span. The 8-foot clearance keeps things compact, and the rectangular footprint gives you more flexibility in placement than a square canopy. Built to IBC standards with the same commercial-grade materials used across the whole shade structure line.
BEST FOR: Mid-sized outdoor areas like a pair of park benches, a small playground section, or a patio dining area that needs sun protection. If a square shade is too small and the 20-28 foot rectangle is overkill, this fills the gap.
I think of this as the mid-range workhorse of the shade line. A 10 to 18-foot rectangle at 8-foot height is the right scale for a lot of common applications: a couple of benches along a walking path, a small section of playground equipment, or a patio dining spot. You get meaningful shade coverage without a structure that dominates the space.
