The Psagot Playgrounds Sandy is an HDPE sand and water play system with bridges, filters, and a set of tools for hands-on sensory play. It is the only dedicated sand and water structure in the Psagot toddler line, and it develops fine motor skills through open-ended exploration rather than climbing or sliding. Holds 16 kids, ages 2-5, with ASTM F1487 and IPEMA certifications. Ground-level design with no fall height.

I recommend the Sandy when a playground already has climbing and sliding covered but needs a sensory component. Sand and water play develops different skills than physical structures — toddlers pour, filter, build channels, and experiment, which works their hands and their problem-solving at the same time. It is the kind of station where a 2-year-old and a 5-year-old can play side by side doing completely different things.
At 16-child capacity on a ground-level footprint, there is no fall risk to plan around. The HDPE panels are made from recycled materials and handle constant contact with sand and water without degrading, which matters because sand and water play is tough on surfaces.
