The Standing Drum Quintet is a set of five freestanding drums, each a different width and tuned to a different tone. They range from the largest at 34" x 16" x 16" down to the smallest at 22" x 8" x 8", so kids naturally explore the pitch differences as they move from drum to drum. Designed for ages 2-12, the drums are played by hand and require no sticks or accessories. Steel construction with a weather-resistant finish for permanent outdoor installation.

Five drums, five different tones. The Standing Drum Quintet is set up so that kids naturally move from one drum to the next, discovering how size affects pitch as they go. The smallest drum produces a higher tone, the largest goes lower, and the three in between fill out the range. That progression is intuitive enough that even a 2-year-old picks up on it.
Since each drum is freestanding, you have flexibility in how you arrange them. Line them up, curve them in a semicircle, scatter them around a music garden -- whatever fits your space. Multiple kids can play at the same time, which is where things get interesting because they start coordinating rhythms without anyone telling them to. The steel construction and weather-resistant finish are built for commercial outdoor use, and there are no sticks or mallets to lose.
