The Playground Equipment Pebble Balance Course is a ground-level balance challenge for children ages 2-12. Colorful pebble-shaped stepping platforms at varying heights help kids develop balance, coordination, and confidence as they step from one to the next. Holds 2-5 kids, with a 20" fall height and use zone of 19' 10" x 14' 8". Meets ASTM F1487 and CPSC #325 safety standards.
BEST FOR: I'd recommend the Pebble Balance Course for sites that serve a wide age range and want something accessible to younger children. The 20" fall height means minimal surfacing requirements, and the stepping-stone format is intuitive -- no instructions needed. Works well at daycare centers, preschools, elementary schools, and public parks.
Balance courses are one of those things that look simple but deliver real developmental value. Toddlers use the lower pebbles to practice basic stepping and weight transfer, while older kids challenge themselves on the taller ones or try to move through the whole course without touching the ground.
