The Playground Equipment Monterey packs a lot of play into a compact footprint. For a structure that handles 27-32 kids, it doesn't waste space -- every section has something for kids to do. Built for ages 2-12 with a 66" fall height and a use zone of 26' x 29' 2". Meets ASTM F1487 and CPSC #325 safety standards.
BEST FOR: This works well for sites where space is at a premium but you still need real capacity. I'd recommend the Monterey for urban parks, schoolyards with limited room, and community centers where every square foot counts. It delivers the play value of a much larger structure in a tighter package.
I recommend the Playground Equipment Monterey when someone tells me they don't have much room but need to keep 30 kids busy. The use zone is about 26 by 29 feet -- smaller than a lot of structures with half the capacity -- but every corner has an activity. There's no dead space where kids just stand around. The designers clearly thought about play density here, and it shows. Kids are constantly discovering something new in a relatively small area.
The 66" fall height is a step up from the 48" structures, which means it has enough elevation to challenge older kids in the 2-12 range. You'll need surfacing rated for about 5.5 feet, so plan for that in your budget. The compact size also means installation is often simpler and faster.
